the power of association

if it’s one thing I’ve been learning over the past handful of years is the value of being conscious of surrounding ourselves with the right kind of association.  We can see where we will be in five years based on the people we associate with & the kinds of books we read.  We become the average of the five people we spend most of our time with.

It is a fundamental truth that getting around positive, forward-thinking, goal-setting, action-taking people will help each of us grow stronger & build more confidence in ourselves & our undertakings.  Iron does sharpen Iron & I believe we must seek out people that stretch us.  Real friends will tell you what you need to hear, not what you want to hear.  Those are the kinds of people I want in my life & I am extremely THANKFUL that I have chosen people of character, integrity and faith that make me want to be a better person & give more of myself to serve others & help them fulfill their purpose & maximize their potential.
